Vincent Scocchera, 93, Cortlandt Manor Resident
CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. — Cortlandt Manor resident Vincent Scocchera died on Wednesday, May 4. He was 93.
Scocchera was born in the Bronx on Sept. 16, 1922, to Gennaro and Theresa (Turco) Scocchera.
He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of American Legion and life member of the Elks Club.
He is survived by his children, Dianna and her husband, Vincent DeGloria, Vincent Scocchera, Jr., and Margaret Nordone; grandchildren, Sandra Fragnito, Vincent Nordone, and Craig Nordone; and three great-grandchildren.

SHELTON, Conn. — Shelton resident Mildred (Moffet) Glynn, died Wednesday, May 4. She was 89.
She was the devoted wife of the late James Glynn.
A native of Bridgeport, Glynn was a Shelton resident for 57 years.
She was employed at Schick Razor for many years before her retirement.
Glynn is survived by children Thomas W. Glynn and his wife Linda, Sharon Zuke and her husband Tom, James M. Glynn and his wife Toni, and Judith LaJoie and her husband Peter; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her friend and companion, Dorothy.

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — New Fairfield resident Lorraine Fuhrmann died Tuesday, May 3. She was 82.
A New York native, Fuhrmann was a resident of New Fairfield the past 50 years and worked at Union Trust Bank.
She also was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church of New Fairfield.

DANBURY, Conn. — Lifelong Danbury resident Theresa A. Guertin died on Tuesday, May 2. She was 80.
Guertin was born in Danbury on Sept. 18, 1935, to Matthew J. and Domenica “Minnie” (Sassetti) Deitz.
A graduate of Danbury schools, Guertin was a caregiver and retired nurse’s aide.
