State Funds To Support Affordable Housing Projects In Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- State officials have announced investments of more than $60 million in funding for 14 affordable housing projects across the state, including two projects in Bridgeport. “We have done more in affordable housing over the past several years than Connecticut has in decades – and this is yet another step in that direction. Ossining Library Plans Programs On Lincoln Assassination
OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Public Library will recognize the 150th anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln with two major programs. The first of two programs takes place on Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m., with an informative presentation on the assassination of President Lincoln and the play-by-play of what exactly happened that night in Ford’s Theater in 1865. This presentation is given by local Lincoln historian John Muranelli. Muranelli will also have on display several of his diagrams of the area where the assassination took place.
