Ossining Library Plans Programs On Lincoln Assassination OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Public Library will recognize the 150th anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln with two major programs. The first of two programs takes place on Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m., with an informative presentation on the assassination of President Lincoln and the play-by-play of what exactly happened that night in Ford’s Theater in 1865.
