In-House Swim Team Tryouts Begin In Ridgefield RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Children ages 7-12 can try competitive swimming for the first time or continue to grow as a competitive swimmer with the co-ed team at the in-house swim team tryouts in Ridgefield.  Students practice and refine all four competitive strokes (freestyle, breast, back and butterfly), learn proper starts, turns and dives, improve relay skills, and increase swim endurance.
