Charles 'Chuck' Truance, 76, Of Port Chester
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Charles "Chuck" Truance, of Port Chester, died on March 11, 2015. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Christie; and son, Carl.
A memorial mass will be held 6 p.m. on Monday at Corpus Christi Church, 136 South Regent St., Port Chester. There will be no visitation.
John Tommins, 89, Of Fairfield, World War II Veteran
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – John F. (Jack) Tommins, of Fairfield and formerly of Rockville Centre, N.Y., died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was 89.
He was born on April 21, 1925, in New Jersey. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn Keating Tommins for 61 years and son of Arthur and Marie Quinlan Tommins. A Long Island banking executive for 40 years, he retired in 1991. He held senior VP positions with First National Bank of LI, Franklin National Bank and its successor, European-American Bank, with responsibilities over auto and marine dealer financing and consumer lending.

Joseph Pellegrino, Of Stamford, 77
STAMFORD, Conn. – Joseph A. Pellegrino, of Stamford, died on Monday, March 9, 2015, in Florida. He was 77 years old.
He was born in Greenwich on Jan. 12, 1938, to Antonio and Mary (Barone) Pellegrino. He grew up in Cos Cob, attended Greenwich High School, and after graduating in 1955, joined the U.S. Army. He came home from the military in 1959 and began work as a mason before becoming a successful general contractor, building homes and condominiums in Greenwich. Pellegrino had many interests and sources of enjoyment. He loved all sports, but baseball and the Yankees were his favorite.
