Westport Conducts Tree Inventory At Longshore Park WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Town of Westport has contracted with Davey Resource Group to conduct a visual inventory of the 2,000 trees and stumps in Longshore Park.  The inventory, which is underway, is expected to take two weeks to complete and will be performed by specially uniformed Davey personnel. Trees will be identified by genus and species, and be ranked for health, structure, and primary maintenance needs, such as removal, selective pruning or removal of dead, dying and/or broken wood.
