Allan Harvey, 93, Former Norwalk Resident THORNTON, Colo. -- Allan Harvey passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Thornton at age 93.  He was born Oct. 18, 1921 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the University of Guelph and Michigan State University and earned a master’s degree in biochemistry. There, he met his future wife, Priscilla Downer, and they married in 1949. He was an editor of the newspaper at Guelph University, on the debate team and participated in hockey, softball and track. Philip Arena, 94, Former Danbury Pharmaceutical Employee DANBURY, Conn. -- Philip John Arena of Danbury died Monday, Dec. 22, at Danbury Hospital. He was 94. He was the husband of the late Helen (Pepe) Arena. He was born June 7, 1920, son of the late Salvatore and Palma (Torragrosso) Arena and was a New Fairfield/Danbury area resident since 1965. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked for the New York City Transit Authority in the maintenance department. He later worked at Danbury Pharmaceutical before his retirement.
