Lakeland Board Elects Officers, Adds Members YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Lakeland Central School District Board of Education unanimously elected Carol Ann Dobson as president of the board at the July 2 organizational meeting. Elizabeth Kogler was re-elected vice president. Michael Daly and Karen Pressman, newly elected board members, were sworn in for three-year terms on the board.

Westport's Longshore Golf Course Sees Record Rounds In May WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Charlie Haberstroh announced that, based on a recent survey and following a renewed emphasis on the condition of facility, the Longshore Golf Course is experiencing a resurgence in interest and play in 2015. According to Haberstroh, the year-to-date use of the waterside course is up over 23 percent. During May, the course hosted over 5,300 rounds of play—the most rounds in the month of May since 2004.
