Dorothy Lillian Bassi, 89, Of Mamaroneck
MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Dorothy Lillian Bassi (nee Kusanke), of Mamaroneck, died on July 11, 2015. She was 89.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1925 in the Bronx to Otto and Wilhelmina Kusanke.
Bassi is survived by her daughters, Lina (Carl) Calarco; Marie (Kevin) Ryder; Gaeann (Jim) Bianco; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand Bassi and her sister, Florence Cato.

Patricia Maskara, Lifelong Yonkers Resident, 75
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Patricia Maskara (nee Ball), of Yonkers, died on Sunday, July 12, 2015. She was 75 years old.
She was born on March 19, 1940 to Martin L. and Arlene G. Ball in Yonkers, where she was raised, and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Maskara worked as a bookkeeper for a private accounting firm in Westchester for over 40 years.
On April 8, 1961 she married George Maskara in Sacred Heart Church; he died in 2008. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart, a former parish trustee and was a volunteer and supporter of the North Yonkers Boys & Girls Club.

Hudson Stage Company Plans Summer Benefit At North Castle Library
ARMONK, N.Y. -- A Summer Benefit for the Hudson Stage Company will be held at the North Castle Library on Sunday, July 26, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The recipient of a special 2015 Tony Award, composer Stephen Schwartz, will offer a concert of his music including songs from Broadway's "Wicked," "Pippin," and "Godspell," as well as from the film scores "Enchanted," "Pocahontas," and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."
Joining Stephen will be Broadway regulars Liz Callaway ("Baby," "Miss Saigon") and Michael McCorry Rose ("Wicked," "The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder").
