Vera DiCarlo, Longtime Pelham Resident
PELHAM, N.Y. -- The family of Vera DiCarlo, a former Pelham resident, is planning a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 27, at noon in Norwalk, Conn.
She died on March 26, 2015, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Born in 1921, the third child of Rose and Luke Fabucci, DiCarlo was raised in the Bronx, N.Y.
She and Ham DiCarlo dated pre-World-War II, married during the war, and raised four children, Hamilcar Vincent, Gregory Paul, Barbara Lee, and Lawrence Luke, in Pelham.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A record-breaking crowd of more than 200 friends, donors, and healthcare partners, contributed close to $125,000 to Visiting Nurse Services Westchester (VNSW) at its 17th annual benefit gala on May 12 at the Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison.

Jeanne S. Loughlin, 91, Of Stamford, Former Elementary School Teacher
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Jeanne S. Loughlin, formerly of Stamford, died on Friday, May 29, in Severn, Md. She was 91 years old.
She was born in Stamford on Feb. 21, 1924, to James and Elizabeth Smith. Loughlin attended Julia A. Stark Elementary School and graduated from Stamford High School with the class of 1942.
She went on to attend West Haven State Teacher's College and graduated with the class of 1946. Following her graduation, she taught kindergarten at Franklin Elementary School and, later, fourth- and fifth-grades at Julia A. Stark School.

Otto O. Weibel, Longtime Westport Resident, 91
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Otto O. Weibel of Westport, died on Monday, June 1, at Norwalk Hospital. He was 91.
Weibel was born in Dietikon, Switzerland on Aug. 20, 1923 and was the son of Robert and Sophie Weibel. He was a resident of Westport for the past 49 years.
He was a volunteer for The American Cancer Society’s “Road To Recovery Program,” and a member of The Westport Wise Men. When he first came to the United States in 1947, he became a lifetime member of the NYC Mannerchor and Swiss-American Club.
