Joseph Piscino, 80, Of Nanuet
NANUET, N.Y. – Joseph Piscino, a longtime resident of Nanuet, died Nov. 23. He was 80.
Piscino was born Dec. 9, 1934, in Manhattan to Dominick and Mildred (nee Giraldi) Piscino.
After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked for daily newspapers in New York City.
Piscino was predeceased by his parents, daughter Donna Marie Keosky, sister Annette Mastellini, and three brothers, Peter, Dominick and Frank.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Virginia Lee Batwinas (nee O'Connell), of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Teaneck, N.J., died Tuesday, Nov. 24. She was 89.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony.
She is survived by son James and his wife Kathleen, daughter Nancy Toleno and her husband Salvatore, brother James O'Connell and his wife Trudy, and two grandchildren..

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Alice Theresa Hart, of Hyde Park, died Monday, Nov. 23 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 82.
Hart was born July 10, 1933, in Dunmore, Pa. to John F. and Mary Ferguson Walsh, graduating from Dunmore High School and the University of Scranton.
She worked for Dairylea Milk and in the payroll department at Hudson River State Hospital, retiring in May 1996.
Hart was predeceased by her parents, her husband Thomas Sr., brother John Walsh Jr., sister Mary McLaine, and twin sister Ann Gaughan.

RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Robert J. "Bob" Germano Sr., a lifelong area resident, died Monday, Nov. 23 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. He was 93.
Germano was born Sept. 28, 1922, in Wappingers Falls to Rocco and Rose Germano, operating Germano Oil Company after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Joseph W. Gallagher, a longtime resident of Rutherford, died Monday, Nov. 23. He was 72.
Gallagher worked as an attorney and also a self-employed tax consultant in Rutherford.
He was predeceased by sibling Francis Gallagher.
He is survived by wife Marilyn Bak, stepdaughter Bridget Bak, and siblings Marybeth Ursen, Gerry Platoni and Stephen Gallagher.
