She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Stabbing At CT Train Station Injures 1, Suspect Gets Away One person was seriously injured when they were stabbed at a Connecticut train station by a man who go away. The incident took place in New Haven County around 12 p.m., Sunday, at the Union Avenue train station in New Haven. According to Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police, officers received a call from a security officer at the train station regarding a man who had been stabbed. When patrol officers arrived they found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds on the left side of the train station, Dell said. Double-Fatal Crash: CT Teen, 20-Year-Old ID'd As Victims After Car Hits Tree A 20-year-old Connecticut man and his 16-year-old passenger were killed after they crashed into a tree. The crash took place in Hartford County around 1:50 a.m., on Sunday, July 16 in Glastonbury. According to Lt. Woman From Region Shot In Stomach, Suspect On Run Police in the region are searching for a suspect after a woman was found shot in the stomach at an area apartment complex. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 5 p.m., Saturday, July 15 in Building 19, of the Sleepy Hollow Apartments in Monticello. Police Searching For Shooter After Locating Shell Casings, Property Damage In Norwalk Police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired and the discovery of shell casings and property damage in Fairfield County. 2 Busted With 1,000 Grams Of Cocaine In Hudson Valley Stop, Police Say Two men were allegedly busted with more than a thousand grams of cocaine during a Hudson Valley traffic stop. Child Under 13 Sexually Abused For Years, Man From Region Charged A man from the region has been charged with predatory sexual assault of a child following an investigation by New York State Police. Sullivan County resident Lavaun Weir, age 31, of Monticello, was arrested on Thursday, July 13, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
