$250,000 Winner: Third-Place Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley Someone in the Hudson Valley is having a great pre-Fourth of July after winning $250,000 in the third-prize Powerball drawing. According to the New York Lottery, the winning ticket for the Wednesday, June 28 game was sold in Orange County at Jai the Sunoco at 1197 Route 208 in Monroe. The winning numbers for the Powerball game were 19-25-34-57-68 with a Power Ball of 4. Lottery officials said the ticket was worth $50,000, but because the unidentified player purchased five $1 Power Play multipliers, the total jumped to $250,000. CT State Rep. Assaulted During Prayer Service, Police Say A Connecticut man has been arrested after a state representative was assaulted while attending a Muslim prayer service. According to officials, Connecticut Rep. Maryam Khan (Hartford) was assaulted around 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, while attending an Eid al-Adha prayer service at the XL Center in Hartford. Man Who Climbed Girder Of Hudson Valley Bridge Talked Down By Police A suicidal man ran to a Hudson Valley bridge and climbed a girder after spotting police who were responding to a call of a potential bridge jumper. CT 10-Month-Old Found Dead In Home Under 'Suspicious' Circumstances, Police Say Police in Connecticut are investigating after a 10-month-old was found dead at a home. The incident took place in New Haven County around 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, when New Haven Police responded to a home on Farren Avenue. According to Capt. $43K Stolen By Treasurer Of Hudson Valley Lacrosse Club, State Police Say A Hudson Valley man who volunteered as a treasurer for a youth lacrosse development club has been charged with stealing more than $43,000 from the organization which is now closed. Man Threatens Neighbors With Shotgun In Region A man from the region was charged with menacing and other charges after allegedly threatening two neighbors with a shotgun. Burglary Spree: Long Island Man Accused Of 7 Heists In Past Month A Long Island man has been charged with burglarizing seven businesses over the past month. Kenneth Eckoff, age 70, of Mastic Beach, was identified as the man who committed multiple burglaries between Monday, May 22, and Sunday, June 25, said Suffolk County Police.
