Train Hits Car, Kills Person On Long Island One person was killed when a car was hit by a Long Island Railroad train. The crash took place in Suffolk County around 6:30 p.m., on Monday, May 8 in Eastport. According to MTA officials, the 4:30 p.m. train from Hunterspoint Avenue to Montauk struck the car on the tracks at the South Bay Avenue crossing. One person in the vehicle was killed, the MTA said. 13-Year-Old Critical Following Crash In Hudson Valley A 13-year-old is in critical condition after being hit by an SUV while riding a scooter in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7 in the town of Poughkeepsie at the intersection of IBM Road and West Dogwood Drive. Massive Norwalk Fire Destroys Home, Cars, Kills Cat Firefighters battled a huge blaze overnight that included a two-story home with hoarding conditions, three cars, several motorcycles, and many car parts in the garage in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 10:15 p.m., Monday, May 8 at 2 Cossett Road, said Deputy Chief of the Norwalk Fire Department Steve Shay. 2 Juveniles Injured In Head-On Dirt Bike Crash In Hudson Valley Two juveniles were injured in a head-on dirt bike crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 in the town of Dover on Weil Road. According to Capt. 3 Shot, Including 15-Month-Old In Region An intensive investigation is underway after three people, including a 15-month-old boy, were shot in at a home in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Monticello around 10 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at a home located at 15 Holmes St. According to Lt.
