Contractor From Norwalk Without Valid License Accused Of Not Completing Work On Westport Home A contractor has been charged with allegedly not completing work on a Connecticut home and working without a valid license. Vincent Balducci, age 58, of Norwalk, was arrested on Wednesday, May 10 for violation of home improvement requirements in Westport. Sexual Assault: 46-Year-Old Nabbed After 5-Month Investigation In Newtown, Police Say A Connecticut man has been charged with a sexual assault that took place in Newtown. New Haven County resident Justin Walsh, age 46, of Southbury, was arrested in Newtown on Wednesday, May 10 for an incident that took place in Dec. 2022, said Det. Lt. Liam Seabrook, of the Newtown Police. Walsh's arrest comes after "an exhaustive and tedious 5-month-long investigation," Seabrook said. Temporary Restraining Order Granted To Prevent Hotel From Housing Migrants In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley hotel will not be able to accept a busload of migrants and asylum seekers sent by New York City under a temporary restraining order granted late Tuesday, May 9. New Principal Named At Greenwich Middle School A new principal has been named to take the helm at Western Middle School in Greenwich. Man From Region Steals Antique Firearm From Military Expo, Police Say A 71-year-old man from the region has been arrested for allegedly stealing an antique firearm from a Military Expo. $24,000 Fraud: 41-Year-Old Man Charged By Chief State's Attorney A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with allegedly illegally collecting more than $24,000 in Unemployment Compensation benefits.
