19-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Shot, Killed, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for a suspect after a 19-year-old area man was shot and later died in surgery. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 2 a.m., Saturday, May 13, in the city of Poughkeepsie. Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the Poughkeepsie Police said the Poughkeepsie resident was found shot in the area of Soldiers Fountain at Market and Montgomery streets. Westport Road Paving Gets Underway To Fix Those Potholes, Here's Where It's summer and that means it's time to go to the beach and not as fun, pave the roads to get rid of those pesky potholes. Attempted Student Kidnapper Charged In New Incident After Victim IDs Photo: Bridgeport PD A Connecticut man who allegedly attempted to kidnap two girls near a high school has been arrested again for a third attempt after the victim recognized his picture. Long Island Man Charged In Department Store Burglaries A Long Island man has been charged with several robberies after allegedly being caught inside a Bloomingdale's store after hours breaking into cash registers. Nassau County resident Robert Ardoin, age 45, of Uniondale, was arrested on Tuesday, May 9, in the Bloomingdale's store in East Garden City at the Roosevelt Field Mall. Update: Police Identify Person Found Dead In Wooded Area Of Trumbull Trumbull Police have confirmed the identity of the body that was discovered in the wooded area near the Pequonnock River Valley. The decomposed body was found by a hiker on Sunday, May 7, said Lt. Brain Weir, of the Trumbull Police. Stamford Couple Steals $460K From Norwalk Resident, Police Say A couple has been charged with allegedly stealing more than $460,000 from a person in Fairfield County. In Nov. 2022, the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau opened an investigation into a report of a married couple illegally taking money from an elderly person, said Lt. Take 5 Lottery Ticket Worth $20K Sold In Hudson Valley It's Friday, and there's a happy person out there who won more than $20,000 on a Take 5 Lottery ticket in the Hudson Valley. The New York Lottery announced Friday, May 12 that one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Thursday, May 11, TAKE 5 midday drawing at the Kwik Mart in Orange County, located in Greenwood Lake. The ticket with the winning numbers 11-12-23-34-38 was worth $20,401.50, lottery officials said. TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. Statewide Search For Suspect: Man Assaulted, Intentionally Run Over, Police Say Police across Connecticut are searching for a silver Infiniti after it allegedly ran over a man intentionally following an assault. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, April 11 in the area of 85 Laura St., in New Haven. Rehabilitation Center Worker Faces Multiple Counts Of Sexual Assault In Danbury A 57-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with multiple counts of alleged sexual assault at a Fairfield County rehabilitation center where he worked.
