Man Charged With Sexual Misconduct In Hudson Valley
Following a months-long investigation into a sexual assault in the Hudson Valley, a 35-year-old man has been charged with alleged sexual misconduct.
The incident was reported to police last year in Dutchess County in the city of Beacon, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson, of the Beacon Police.
Tenzing Kunga, age 35, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, March 29, Johnson said.
Bail was set at $20,000 cash/$40,000 bond /$65,000 partially secured bond.
Kunga was later bailed out and he is due back in court at a future date.

Fatal Hit-Run Crash: 18-Year-Old Charged For Incident Involving Hudson Valley Woman, Age 52
An 18-year-old Hudson Valley resident has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash last year that left another woman dead.
The Rockland County teen, from Monsey, was charged on Monday, April 3, said Lt. Michael Gannon, with the Ramapo Police.
Her name was not released due to her age at the time of the incident, making her eligible for youthful offender status, Gannon said.
The crash took place in Rockland County around 12:45 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, on West Carlton Road in Ramapo, Gannon said.

New Update: Missing Stamford Man ID'd As Body Found In Westport Pond
Police in Westport have released the identity of a body found floating in a retention pond.
According to Westport Police Lt. Eric Woods, the body found early Monday, April 3, has been identified as that of Errol Whyte, age 62, of Stamford.
Whyte has been missing since Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, and was the subject of a missing person investigation by the Stamford Police Department, he said.
On Friday, Dec. 30, Whyte's 2002 Ford Explorer was found unoccupied on I-95 southbound between Exits 18 and 17 near the Saugatuck Bridge, Stamford Police said at the time.

Fake ID Scam: Thousands Of Dollars Swindled From Fairfield County Resident, Police Say
A man has been charged with larceny and identity theft after allegedly using a fake ID to steal more than $20,000 from a Fairfield County resident.
Archie Longson, age 44, of New York City, was arrested by Wilton Police on Monday, March 27 on a warrant.
The victim first learned of the crime in April 2022, when they found two fraudulent transactions on their bank account for a total of $20,500; a withdrawal of $8,000 was also made at a bank in Connecticut, and a bank check in the name of Longson was purchased for the amount of $12,500, said Capt. Gregg Phillipson, of the Wilton Police.
