She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. 4 Nabbed In Kidnapping, Knifepoint Robbery On Long Island Four Long Island residents have been charged in connection with the alleged knifepoint robbery of a 24-year-old man. The incident took place in Nassau County around 11:55 p.m., on Monday, March 20 on School Drive in Baldwin. According to detectives, a 24-year-old male victim was in front of a School Drive residence when he was approached by four people that were known to him. Norwalk Felon Charged With Shooting Himself, Police Say A 25-year-old Norwalk man who was shot, causing a large response, has been charged with shooting himself and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Moses Jeannot turned himself in to Norwalk Police on Tuesday, March 21 for the incident which took place on Monday, Feb. 20 on Dry Hill Road. According to Norwalk Police Sgt. Man Sentenced To Prison In Violent Hudson Valley Slashing Attack A Hudson Valley 53-year-old has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to assault in the violent slashing attack of a man who was a life-long acquaintance. Orange County resident Melfred Williams, of Newburgh, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and five years post-release supervision in connection with his guilty plea in the May 2022 slashing of a man on Lander Street in the City of Newburgh, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Man Found Dead After 3-Day Search In Hudson Valley A 45-year-old man who had been missing for several days was found dead in the Hudson Valley by state forest rangers assisted by state police. The unidentified Brooklyn man's body was found in Ulster County at the Mohonk Preserve in Marbletown, on Friday, March 17, by rescuers who had been searching the steep, rocky terrain for three days after his vehicle was found in the parking lot of the preserve, said Jeff Wernick of the New York Department of Conservation. Neighbor Charged After Wilton Man Found Dead In Garage A man was found dead in his garage after his neighbor in Fairfield County called to report finding him. The incident took place in Wilton around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, on Patrick Lane. According to Wilton Deputy Police Chief Robert Cipolla, officers responded to the home and found a man identified as Arinzechukwu Ukachukwu, age 39, in the detached garage on the property. Man Rescued From Trench At Norwalk Construction Site A man was rescued from a trench after he was accidentally bumped into a hole by a backhoe operator in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk on Tuesday, March 21 at an excavation site. Norwalk firefighters responded to a call for a worker down in a hole after being "accidentally bumped" by a backhoe operator, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Shay. The firefighters extricated the man from the trench and treated his injuries, Shay said, The man was transported to Norwalk Hospital with minor injuries.

Suspicious Death: Body Of Missing Stamford Man Found In Local Park Stamford Police say the body of a missing man was found in an area park and the circumstances are "suspicious." The body of Jaquan Tahir Saez, age 21, of Stamford, was found shortly before 5 p.m. in Boccuzzi Park located at 200 Southfield Ave., said Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police.
