She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Fatal Crash: Woman ID'd As Victim Of 2-Vehicle Collision In Meriden A Connecticut woman was killed during a two-car crash as she turned into a driveway. The crash took place in New Haven County in Meriden at about 3:30 a.m., Sunday, March 12 on Main Street in South Meriden. Juvenile Charged With Shooting 19-Year-Old With BB Gun On Long Island A juvenile was charged with allegedly shooting a 19-year-old with a BB gun three times, seriously injuring his eye on Long Island. The incident took place in Farmingdale around midnight on Saturday, March 11. According to detectives, the victim went to his friend’s home to discuss an issue they had earlier in the night. Man Accused Of Threatening Victim With Rifle Outside Long Island Home A Long Island resident has been accused of threatening another man with a rifle for parking in front of his house legally. The incident took place in Plainview around 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 12 in the area of Amherst Drive and Fordham Drive. According to Nassau County detectives, the victim, age 20, legally parked his vehicle on the street in front of his neighbor’s house. Fatal Hit-Run: Police On Long Island Asking For Help Identifying Driver, Vehicle Police on Long Island are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a person who fatally struck a pedestrian and fled the scene. The incident took place in Huntington Station on Saturday, March 4 on the Jericho Turnpike. Attempted Murder: Hudson Valley Man Intentionally Hit Victim With Car, Cops Say A Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly intentionally striking another man with a car in an attempt to kill him. The incident took place in Rockland County on Thursday, March 9 around 3:20 p.m. in the Hillcrest area of Ramapo.
