14-Year-Old Charged In Shooting Of Son Of High-Ranking Mount Vernon Police Official A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the shooting of the son of a high-ranking police official from Westchester County. The boy, whose name and address was not provided due to his age, was picked up on Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the Bronx, said the New York City Police Department. Man Nabbed For Burglary Of Hudson Valley Home, Police Say A Hudson Valley man is being held in jail after allegedly burglarizing an area home and making off with personal belonging. Ulster County resident Matthew Doyle, age 40, of Saugerties, was charged on Wednesday, Feb. 1 for the burglary which took place in Sept. 2022. Man Killed In 'Tragic' ATV Accident In CT, Police Say A Connecticut man was killed during what police are calling a "tragic" accident on an ATV. The crash took place in Litchfield County around 6:20 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the area of Hancock Court in Plymouth. Hudson Valley Youth Being Extorted On Social Media, Police Say Police in the Hudson Valley are warning parents of a group that is targeting youth on social media for suggestive photos and then blackmailing them for cash. The incident took place in Bethel around 11:50 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31 on Reservoir Street. The Bethel Police Department received a call about yelling coming from a home. Man Found Lying Dead On CT Roadway, No Car In Sight, Police Say A man was found dead lying on a Connecticut roadway by police responding to a call of a person in the road bleeding from their head.
