Man, Woman Found Shot Dead In Danbury Home Likely A Murder-Suicide, Police Say Police say that a man and woman who were shot dead in the basement of a home in Fairfield County were a husband and wife and were likely victims of a murder-suicide. The two were found in Danbury around 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28 at a home on Clayton Road after police received a request for a well-being check. Police Release Surveillance Image Of Suspected Mail Thief In Trumbull Police in Fairfield County are investigating numerous thefts from mailboxes that have occurred over the past several weeks where mail was stolen from many residential neighborhoods during the day. Police are seeking to identify a suspect vehicle that was spotted taking mail from a residential mailbox in Trumbull near the borders of Monroe and Shelton on Monday, Nov. 28. Man Accused Of Threatening Shooting At Bank In Hudson Valley An irate Hudson Valley customer was arrested for allegedly threatening to come back and shoot up the bank. The incident took place in Ulster County on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the M&T Bank located on Route 209 in the village of Ellenville. Ellenville police responded to the bank for a report of an irate customer who had threatened to come back and shoot up the bank and to shoot police if they came to his home, said the Ellenville Police. 19-Year-Old Killed In Chain-Reaction Lynbrook Crash A 19-year-old was killed during a chain reaction crash on Long Island. The crash took place in Lynbrook around midnight Tuesday, Nov. 29, on Ocean Avenue. According to Nassau County Police, a 2009 BMW driven by the 19-year-old man was traveling southbound on Ocean Avenue when it was in hit a Nissan Pathfinder. The woman was reported missing place in Rockland County around 12:45 a.m., Monday, Nov. 28 in Monsey. Off-Duty Firefighter Rescues Woman From Burning Car In Brookfield An off-duty firefighter saved a woman from a burning vehicle involved in a crash in Fairfield County over the weekend. The incident took place in Brookfield around 3:15 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, on Route 7 northbound in the area of the Junction Road overpass. 5 Officers Arrested In Case Of Suspect Paralyzed In Police Van In Connecticut Five police officers have been arrested in connection with the case of a suspect who was paralyzed while riding in a police transport van, according to Connecticut State Police.
