CT Man Accused Of Leaving Wife With No Heat, Food A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly leaving his wife without heat, food, or money. The arrest took place in New London County on Friday, Oct. 21 in Groton. Driver Seriously Injured After Compact SUV Crashes Into Hicksville Home A driver is in serious condition after losing control of his compact SUV and hitting the front of a Long Island home, authorities said. The incident took place in Hicksville around 11 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 382 Newbridge Road. Know Him? Many Accused Of Stealing SUV From Southampton Golf Club Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly stole a vehicle from a Long Island golf club. The theft of a 2022 Toyota 4Runner took place in Southampton at the Sebonack Gold Club around 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, said the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police. Live Alligator Strutting Its Stuff In Front Window Of Theater In Hudson Valley Patrons weren't seeing things when they spotted an alligator in the front window of a theater in the region, according to police, it is real. The gator was spotted in the heart of Ulster County on Monday, Oct. 24 in the town of Rosendale, and police say gator is real and was living in the window, well at least for a week. 15-Year-Old Stabs Parent With Pocket Knife At CT Residence, Police Say A Connecticut teen has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a parent with a pocket knife. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 on Pratt Street. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at the home and found that a 15-year-old had stabbed a parent with a pocket knife. Man Charged After 37-Year-Old Woman Found Dead At CT Residence A Connecticut man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in his apartment and police found a large cache of drugs. New Haven County resident David Edward Vasquez, age 35, of Milford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 11. According to Milford Police, officers and the Milford Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at 5 Schooner Lane, on Tuesday, Oct. 11. Man Accused Of Setting Fiancé's House On Fire In Hudson Valley A man from the region has been charged with allegedly intentionally setting his fiancé's home on fire. The fire took place in Ulster County around 1:45 a.m., on Saturday, June 22 in Saugerties. When Saugerties police officers and firefighters from the Saxton Fire District arrived on the scene they found a single-family home engulfed by fire, said Chief Joseph Sinagra of the Saugerties Police. State Police Cruiser Struck On I-84 A Connecticut State Police cruiser was hit on I-84 west as a trooper investigated another crash. The incident took place in Hartford near Exit 48 around 5 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers from Troop H responded to a collision and were out of the vehicle when another vehicle crashed into their cruiser. No injuries were reported in the crash, state police said. Information was not available regarding the type of vehicle that hit the cruiser or the name of the driver. The crash is under investigation.
