Man Accused Of Setting Fiancé's House On Fire In Hudson Valley A man from the region has been charged with allegedly intentionally setting his fiancé's home on fire. The fire took place in Ulster County around 1:45 a.m., on Saturday, June 22 in Saugerties. State Police Cruiser Struck On I-84 A Connecticut State Police cruiser was hit on I-84 west as a trooper investigated another crash. The incident took place in Hartford near Exit 48 around 5 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers from Troop H responded to a collision and were out of the vehicle when another vehicle crashed into their cruiser. No injuries were reported in the crash, state police said. Information was not available regarding the type of vehicle that hit the cruiser or the name of the driver.  The crash is under investigation.
