Man Broke Into Convenience Store, Stole Cigarettes, Lotto Tickets: Newark PD A man is at large after he broke into a convenience store in Newark and stole cash and other items on Friday, Sept. 13, authorities said. At 3 a.m., the suspect broke into Downneck Convenience Store on Pacific Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The suspect was captured on surveillance video smashing the front glass door with a rock, Fragé said. Motorcyclist Airlifted Following Route 46 Crash: Njsp A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after he crashed on Route 46 in Warren County on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. At 6:15 p.m., a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling westbound on Route 46 in Liberty Township lost control and veered off the right side of the road, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
