CT Man Impersonates Officer: Threatens To Arrest Victims Before Befriending Them, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested after allegedly impersonating an officer in Tolland County and threatening to arrest two victims before offering to have a beer with them, police said. Ramp Closure: Traffic Between I-87, Saw Mill River Parkway In Elmsford To Be Affected Commuters in Westchester are being warned of an upcoming ramp closure that will affect traffic between a busy interstate highway and a parkway in the county. The ramp from Interstate 87 to Exit 8A that connects the highway to the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford will close on Friday, June 23 beginning at 5 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Flaming Fridge Starts Blaze At Housing Complex In Somers A fire started by a refrigerator in the garage of a residence at a housing complex in Northern Westchester could have been much worse if not for the quick action of the homeowner, fire officials said. Suspect At Large: Shooting Leaves Man In Serious Condition In Yonkers Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting that sent a 49-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries in Westchester.
