Man Attacks Officer Near Prom Photo Shoot In Port Chester, Fights 2 More After Release: Police A 25-year-old man faces numerous charges after attacking three officers in two unprovoked incidents in Westchester, including one that happened in front of a prom photo shoot, police said. Unpermitted Solicitors, Illegal Dumpers Nabbed In Hudson Valley In response to complaints from residents, three people, including a street musician, were issued summonses for soliciting without a permit and illegal dumping in the Hudson Valley. Suspect At Large: Shooting Leaves Man In Serious Condition In Yonkers Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting that sent a 49-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries in Westchester. The shooting happened on Tuesday, June 20 just after 7 p.m. in Yonkers in the area of 86 Hamilton Ave., where the victim was shot in his lower extremities, Detective Lieutenant Dean Politopoulos said. Stolen Van With Customized Wheelchair Inside Found In Yorktown: Suspects At Large Police are searching for the suspects who stole a minivan containing a customized wheelchair in Northern Westchester before leaving the vehicle behind in a parking lot. Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Caught On I-95: Police An 82-year-old drunk driver faces numerous charges after allegedly driving the wrong way on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut, police said. Former Peekskill Police Sergeant Kenneth Faughnan died on Sunday, June 18 at the age of 58, his former department announced.
