Suspect On Loose: 2 Women Followed Home From Casino, Robbed In Yonkers, Police Say Police are searching for a suspect who followed two women home from a casino in Westchester and robbed them in their driveway as they were about to leave their car. Dog Bites Child, Leads To Arrest Of Owner In Yorktown: Police A 71-year-old man faces charges after allegedly failing to license his dog that bit a child in Northern Westchester, police said. The arrest stemmed from an incident that happened on Sunday, May 14, when Yorktown Police responded to a report of a dog biting a child within the town. Person Hospitalized After Crash On Route 100 In Katonah A two-car crash on a busy main road in Northern Westchester sent one person to the hospital and caused a small fluid spill. The collision happened on Friday, June 16 around 4 p.m., when first responders were sent to Route 100 in Katonah by the King Kone ice cream shop for a reported crash, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. 7 Smoke Shops Busted For Underage Sales To Minors In Danbury A series of unannounced compliance checks has landed several Fairfield County smoke shops in hot water for selling e-cigarettes and vaping products to minors, police said. Long Stretch Of Busy State Route To Close In Hudson Valley Commuters are being warned of an upcoming road closure that will impact a long portion of a busy state route in the Hudson Valley. Both directions of State Route 9W in Orangetown between Shadyside Avenue and Hickey Street will close on both Saturday, June 17, and Saturday, June 24, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closures will last between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on both days, officials said. The road closure is to facilitate maintenance activities.

Hit-Run Suspect At Large: Man Hospitalized After Being Struck In Peekskill Police are currently searching for the suspect in a hit-run that left a pedestrian hospitalized in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Monday, June 12 around 10 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was hit by a car in the area of the 1000 block of Howard Street in Peekskill, according to Peekskill Police Lt. Police Searching For Young Trespassing Suspects In Rye Brook Authorities are asking for help from the public in locating two suspects who illegally entered a closed former hotel in Westchester. The trespassing incident happened in Rye Brook on Tuesday night, June 13, when two young suspects unlawfully entered the former Westchester Hilton located at 699 Westchester Ave., according to Rye Brook Police.
