Driver Hospitalized After Car Slams Into Pole In Yorktown One person was taken to an area hospital when their car crashed into a utility pole in Northern Westchester, requiring a delicate rescue to avoid downed lines. Teens, Young Adults Targeted By Fake Check Scam: Suspect At Large In Larchmont, Police Say Authorities in Westchester are searching for a suspect who has been asking teenagers and young adults to cash fake checks for him as a way to get them to send him large amounts of money, officials said.
