Skeletal Remains Found In Wooded Area Of Deerfield: Police Human remains were found in a wooded area of South Jersey last month, authorities confirmed. According to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan, the skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area near Lebanon Road in Deerfield Township (Cumberland County) on the evening of March 6. The investigation remains active, and no additional information was available.
