Woman Pulled From Burning Ridgewood Home, Rushed To Hospital: Officials
A woman was rushed to the hospital after being pulled from a burning home in Ridgewood Tuesday, April 1, incident photographer Boyd A. Loving reports. The fire broke out in a single-family home on the 800 block of Norgate Drive bringing emergency crews to the scene. Emergency crews arrived after receiving an automatic alarm and follow-up 911 call. One victim, believed to be a female resident, was removed from the home and transported by Ridgewood FD/EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital with unspecified injuries, officials said. Police have announced an arrest in the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man at a Long Island apartment complex. Antwane Lee, 31, of Bay Shore, has been charged with second-degree murder in the Sunday, March 30 incident that left Justin Evans dead at the apartments on Pondview Drive in East Patchogue, Suffolk County police said. A 38-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car in front of a Pennsylvania township's ambulance station Monday, March 31, police said. A Pennsylvania couple was arrested after police say they were caught transporting 14,000 suspected fentanyl pills with a street value of $420,000 on a North Jersey highway.
