Lucky $5 Bet Lands $485K Jackpot At Mohegan Sun A guest at the Mohegan Sun walked away nearly half a million dollars richer after a $5 spin on a slot machine hit big.  The Uncasville casino announced the winner was playing the Light & Wonder Monopoly Cash Wheel on Friday, March 28, when they landed the $474,268.96 jackpot. The spinning wheels landed on three Monopoly jackpot symbols on the top line to claim the prize.  The game was introduced at the Casino of the Earth in 2023 to join the other 4,000 slot machines at the Mohegan Sun.  The winner's name was not released.

More than 300,000 gallons of untreated sewage are expected to flow into the river each day until the line can be repaired, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) said.
