Via Vanti Restaurant Departs Mount Kisco Train Station
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The Mount Kisco train station's Via Vanti! will close at the end of business on Saturday, June 18, according to The Examiner News. The Italian café and restaurant has operated at the station since 2008 and has been on a month-to-month basis since summer of 2015, The Examiner News reported. Rockland Middle Schools Make The Cut In State 100 Rankings
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several Rockland County schools placed in Niche's top 100 ranking of New York's best middle schools for 2016. Suffern Middle School placed 43rd, while South Orangetown Middle School was ranked 94th. Felix Festa Determination and Character Middle Schools placed 57th and 58, respectively, while Felix Festa Achievement Middle School ranked as the 79th best. Danbury Man Arrested After Fight Outside Restaurant
DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man was arrested for allegedly smashing a bottle across another man's face outside a local restaurant, according to The News-Times. According to Danbury Lt. Michael Sturdevant, Oscar Vasquez, 36, allegedly smashed a bottle across a man's face during a drunken fight in the alley next to the Copacabana Cafe at around 12:55 a.m. Saturday, The News-Times reported. Lost Grey And White Cat Found In Tarrytown
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A lost grey and white cat has been found in Tarrytown and taken to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital. The neutered male is not chipped and was found on Grove Street.
