Dutchess County Stages Second Annual Walkway Marathon
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- More than 2,600 runners have registered for this weekend's Second Annual Walkway Marathon race series. “Dutchess County Government is immensely proud to both be a partner in the Walkway Marathon and to host the great majority of the 26.2-mile route on the Dutchess Rail Trail," said County Executive Marcus Molinaro. VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla High School's Kyra Hickey won a Metropolitan Youth Theater Award for "Best Featured Ensemble Member" on Monday, June 6. Small White Dog Missing In White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A small white dog named Jack has gone missing in White Plains. Jack had no collar and is not microchipped. One of his front paws is distinctively semi-shaved due to a recent visit to the veterinarian. New City Celebrates Summer With Beach Party Street Fair
CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- The New City Chamber of Commerce will host the 2016 New City Summer Beach Party Street Fair on Sunday, June 12. The fair will feature rides, amusements, food, vendors, artisan crafts, live music and disc jockey performances and more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
