She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Rolison will hold a ribbon cutting at the intersection of Main and Garden Streets on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m.This project opens up both pedestrian and vehicular access to Garden Street.  It was funded by a grant from Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation with help from the Poughkeepsie Alliance.
