Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Poughkeepsie Ceremony Opens Garden Street To Pedestrians, Vehicles POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. --City of Poughkeepsie Mayor Robert G. Rolison will hold a ribbon cutting at the intersection of Main and Garden Streets on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m.This project opens up both pedestrian and vehicular access to Garden Street. It was funded by a grant from Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation with help from the Poughkeepsie Alliance.

Norwalk Community College Sponsors Coding Competition NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College will sponsor a coding competition to help increase exposure for tech-savvy students with local technology companies.The event will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at NCC’s West Campus, rooms W138 and W140, 188 Richards Ave. The Connecticut Skills Challenge provides students with the opportunity to test their coding skills against others across the state and get noticed. Buy Teddy Bears, Chocolate At Paterson Church's Valentine Fundraiser PATERSON, N.J. -- The St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson will sell teddy bears and chocolate for a Valentine's Day fundraiser. Starting Jan. 16, participants can buy teddy bears and a box of chocolates with a choice of two Valentine’s Day balloons for $20.
