She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

JCC In Tarrytown Collects Toys For Blythedale Hospital In Valhalla TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Families from the JCC on the Hudson In Tarrytown collected holiday toys for the children at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla.The kids wrapped the presents with paper they designed, ribbons and lots of colored tape. Some of the children wrote "Feel Better" on the homemade gift wrap. The JCC on the Hudson is a gathering place that offers social, recreational, educational and cultural opportunities guided by Jewish values. Valhalla Middle School Program Makes, Decorates Gingerbread Houses VALHALLA, N.Y. -- On Dec. 17, the Valhalla Middle School Partners' Program met for its Winter Extravaganza, an end-of-year celebration. In addition to spending time together, the groups each opened gingerbread house-making kits and worked to assemble and decorate them for the holidays. Fairfield Police Launch GoFundMe Campaign To Pay For K9 Unit FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Police K9 Unit has set up a GoFundMe page. The K9 Unit serves as a valuable tool in combating and deterring crime. It is often the determining factor in conducting a search or achieving a peaceful arrest, the Fairfield Police Department said. Greenwich Students Team With Junior League For Senior Celebration GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Done in a Day Committee of the Junior League of Greenwich, along with middle school students from Greenwich Catholic School, volunteered their time to celebrate the fall harvest season with seniors from Community Centers Inc. at Agnes Morley in Greenwich.This social event held in late October created a multi-generational project, designed for everyone to enjoy an afternoon of arts and craft activities.
