Fight Breaks Out Between Yonkers Fire Officials, One Taken To Hospital YONKERS, N.Y. -- Police are investigating an altercation between Yonkers Fire Commissioner John Darcy and Lt. Michael O'Connor at the department’s annual Christmas party. The brawl took place at The Fairways at Dunwoodie in Yonkers, according to multiple reports. Witnesses describe the altercation as very ugly and unfortunate and O'Connor was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital as a result of the fight, where he was treated and released, according to News 12. Highview School Celebrates Winter Solstice With Many Dances GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Highview School in Greenburgh held its Winter Solstice celebration on Monday, with youngsters performing the "Mummer's Play," the "North Skelton Sword Dance" (with wooden "swords"), a folk dance called "Kings and Queens," a solo Indian dance and other numbers, many with a touch of British folk history. The solstice celebration also featured guest artist Cate Sandstrom performing on the violin and reading teacher Michael McHale on the guitar.  The performances were all conducted by music teacher Peter Roberts.
