Meadowland Of Carmel Collects Pet Food For Putnam Humane Society CARMEL, N.Y. -- Meadowland of Carmel owners Barbara Volz and her son Kenn Volz, along with staff and customers, have collected over 82 large bags of dog food, 82 bags of cat food and 24 cases each of both cat and dog food. More continues to come into the car dealership. Offering incentives such as discounts on auto purchases and free oil changes, the Volz Family encouraged customers to help the shelter dogs and cats at the Putnam Humane Society, and the community responded. The Putnam Humane Society is a not-for-profit animal shelter.
