She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Sires.  Sires had been a Fairfield resident since 1958. She attended the University of Bridgeport.  Before her marriage, she worked as a medical secretary. Norton, 90, of Fairfield, husband of the late Lorraine Norton, died Monday, Dec. 14. The fourth child of six, Peter was born July 23, 1925, and raised in Fairfield. Children See Santa, Take Photos At Sleepy Hollow Boosters Breakfast Event SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Santa made an appearance in Sleepy Hollow over the weekend, at the Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Boosters Breakfast with Santa event. A pancake breakfast was served at Sleepy Hollow High School, and high School and middle School "elves" did the serving.  Photos were taken with Santa, and children were able to write letters to him.  Proceeds from Santa's appearance and the breakfast will go to Middle and High School music students.

Police Say Man Whose Body Was Found In Spring Valley Died Of Natural Causes SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Police say the man whose body was found in Spring Valley Saturday died of natural causes, Spring Valley Police told Daily Voice.The body of a black male in his 40s or 50s was discovered at 21 Memorial Park Drive on Saturday afternoon. The man, who may have been homeless, was found lying on the ground with one foot in a stream. He was holding an empty water jug, News 12 said. The body was taken by the Rockland County Medical Examiner's Office and an autopsy was completed, News 12 said. Read the News 12 report here.

Rhinebeck Students Perform At Bard College RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- The fifth-grade students from Chancellor Livingston School in Rhinebeck were invited to join students from the Bard College Conservatory for an afternoon performance of music at Bard College in the Sosnoff Theater. Actress Mary Stuart Masterson made a guest appearance as well; she did a reading from "The Grinch." Bard College is in Annandale-On-Hudson.
