State Regents Recommend Delay In Counting Common Core The state Board of Regents has recommended that students and teachers not be held responsible for the results of the Common Core tests until the 2019-20 school year, according to a story on lohud.com.A board committee voted Monday on a series of recommendations from its panel reviewing the standardized tests and how they are used to grade the performance of students and teachers.
