Aggravated DWI In Orangetown Lands Pearl River Man In Jail, Police Say ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A 49-year-old Pearl River man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Orangetown last week. On Dec. 12, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Orangetown Police Department charged Eugene O'Callaghan, 49, of Pearl River, for aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, police said. O'Callaghan was stopped for a traffic violation while operating a 2002 Volkswagen, police said. He was processed and released pending a 6 p.m., Jan.  27 Orangetown Court date.
