Mount Vernon Boys And Girls Club Visits Black College, University Fair MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Eleven teens from the Mount Vernon Boys and Girls Club recently attended the Historically Black College and University Annual College Fair. It took place at Riverbank State Park in New York City on Saturday, Nov. 14.  The teens visited with the 30 historically black colleges and universities to learn the requirements for acceptance.  More than 1,000 prospective college students attended the event.  This is the first in a series of events the club has planned to expose its teens to more colleges and universities and assist them with successfully attending college.  Ot…
