She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Take A Yoga Class At Edith Wheeler Memorial Library In Monroe MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe is offering a yoga class for adults on Saturday.Participants can learn the basics of yoga. Wayne Middle School Receives $10,000 Grant From State Education Association WAYNE, N.J. -- Schuyler-Colfax Middle School in Wayne was one of 46 New Jersey schools and school districts selected to receive Sustainable Jersey for Schools small grants funded by the New Jersey Education Association.Schuyler-Colfax Middle School was awarded one of eleven $10,000 grants to establish a "Digging in the Dirt" school garden program. Come To Eastchester HS Talent Show To Support 'Operation Smile' EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester High School Operation Smile Club is hosting a talent show.Operation Smile is a charity organization that works towards improving the lives of young people across the world who suffer from facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate. The goal is to raise funds in order to send doctors to third-world countries to provide reconstructive surgeries for these children. Ridgefield Fire Damages Home, But Family, Dog Are Unharmed RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A family was displaced after a fire that began on a stovetop Monday, Dec. 7, spread to cabinets and through the second floor floorboards of a rented home on Ridgebury Road in Ridgefield, according to the Ridgefield Press website. The home is owned by John Katz, a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, who lives next door, the story said. Katz used a fire extinguisher to put most of the fire on the stove, said the Press. Firefighters arrived and rescued the family's dog from the second floor, the Press said. Read the full story here.
