Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Valhalla Boys Soccer Team Wins League Championship, Continues To Sectionals VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Congratulations to the Valhalla High School boys varsity soccer team for winning the League Championship for the second year in a row. The team capped off a remarkable 2015 fall season with a win over Westlake High School in mid-October. Valhalla finished the year as the third-ranked team in New York State, boasting a record of 14 wins with one loss and one tie . Elmwood Park Mayor Fights For Installation Of Sound Barriers Along I-80 ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Elmwood Park Mayor Richard Mola is hoping a federal law will help get sound barriers installed along Interstate 80, according to NorthJersey.com.Mola attended a meeting Sept. 23 with state officials regarding 9 miles of planned reconstruction on I-80, including the widening of the highway westbound in Paterson from three to four lanes to reduce traffic slow-downs during peak hours, northjersey.com said. Woman, 48, Busted On Prostitution Charge At Wilton Spa WILTON, Conn. -- A 48-year-old woman was arrested on prostitution charges at a Wilton spa at 7 p.m. Thursday, police said. Yuhong Zeng, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., was arrested at the Green Tea Spa, 7 Danbury Road, 2nd Floor, police said. The Wilton Police Detective Division, with assistance from the Norwalk Police Department, had initiated an investigation into a complaint of prostitution taking place at the spa, police said.
