She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

World All-Tournament Baseball Team Ranks Cortlandt Boy Top Freshman Hitter CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Zachary Selinger of Cortlandt Manor was named to the WWBA Freshman World All-Tournament team and ranked as the top hitter at the national event held at Perfect Game in Emerson, Ga., from Oct. 16-19.The national tournament consisted of the top 48 teams in the world with the highest ranked teams in the United States competing. Greenburgh Town Board Limits Town Hall Use After Protests GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Town Board is limiting the use of meeting rooms at Town Hall after demonstrators on Monday decried a WESPAC forum on Israel and the Palestinian territories, accusing the town of allowing anti-Israel hate speech, according to a story on lohud.com.In reaction to the protest, which was monitored by a large contingent of police, the Town Board on Tuesday approved an interim access policy that restricts use of Town Hall to appointed board, councils, committees and commissions and to groups that had already reserved space through the remainder of the year, lohud.com said. Mushroom Fans Eat Up Fungal Foray With Greenwich Land Trust GREENWICH, Conn. -- Mushroom enthusiasts recently joined The Greenwich Land Trust staff for a fungal identification nature walk. Conservation and Outreach Director Steve Conaway led participants recently through trails on the trust's Sargent Gildersleeve Stone preserve and around the preserve’s pond. Guests were told to keep their eyes on the ground and to be on the lookout for the many varieties of fungi growing in the forest.
