Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Elizabeth G. Murphy, 97, Of Bronxville, Formerly Of Yonkers BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Elizabeth G. Murphy (Betty) died Oct. 20, at the age of 97. Born in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Gansert. She married James C. Murphy Nov. 20, 1941 in St. Luke's Church in the Bronx. Her husband predeceased her in 2012. She also was predeceased by her sons, James (Jill) and Kevin, and her grandson Peter Esposito. Poughkeepsie Police Add K9 Kiah To The Force POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department will have a new police K9 joining the force in November. K9 Kiah is one of many rescued pit bull dogs that have been trained as narcotics detection dogs for law enforcement and provided at no cost to the department. Frank DiBartolo Sr. 91, Of Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Frank DiBartolo Sr. 91, of Yorktown Heights, died Oct. 19.He was born Oct. 14, 1924, to Gaetano and Gaetana DiBartolo in Sicily, Italy. On Nov. 14, 1948, he married Catherine Guizzetti. He is survived by Catherine, his wife of 67 years, and sons Mark (Sally) and Eric (Elizabeth). He also is survived by his grandchildren, Frank, Nicholas, Megan and Cali. He was predeceased by his son Frank Jr. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. John L. Condelario, 87, Of New Rochelle NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- John L. Condelario, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Oct. 17. He was 87. He was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Puerto Rico, to the late John and Grace (Saunders) Candelario. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of American legion Post 8, The Knights of Columbus, the Hugh Doyle Senior Center and the Korean Veterans Association Chapter 91. She was married for 44 years to Bishop James P. Roberts Jr. She was the mother of sons Dwayne and Jason; grandmother of Anaya; and mother-in-law of Brenda. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas L.C. Church, 147 West 144th St., Manhattan, N.Y. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
