She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

New Rochelle Leaders Take Part In STEM Conference NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Five leaders in the community participated in a STEM conference this summer. Members of the New Rochelle delegation are Christine Coleman (Director of Technology), Marselle Heywood (Science Chair for Secondary Schools), John Barnes (Albert Leonard Middle School Principal), Diane Massimo (Associate Superintendent) and Ronald Morris (New Rochelle High School Mathematics Chair).  Members will work throughout the year to integrate lessons learned into every school in grades K-12.
