She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Syso, 95, died Sept. 14. Born and raised in Yonkers, she was the daughter of Martin Sivco and Emma Yuhasz Sivco.  Married to the late Michael Syso for over 25 years, together they raised two daughters Judith Elliott and Mary Ann Guarino.  She is survived by her two daughters; four grandchildren -- Gail Zerafa, Anne Marie Getlik, Gene and Joseph Guarino; and seven great-grandchildren.  She was a lifelong member of Most Holy Trinity Church.
