She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Two Concordia College Students Receive Scholarship BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Longtime Bronxville resident and Concordia College benefactor Elinor Urstadt presented the Elinor Urstadt Scholarship Aug. 25 at the college's opening service.The service was in the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. It marks the beginning of the academic year at Concordia College.  Sarah Prescott, a first-year social work student, and Kevin Koehler, a student studying radiologic technologies, received recognition of the scholarship from their benefactor at the Concordia College Scholarship Awards luncheon.
