Accused 'Bond Gang' Members From Englewood, Teaneck Brought To Court
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Six people from Englewood, Teaneck and beyond -- with connections to the infamous James Bond burglary gang -- were arraigned Monday on a sweeping indictment that alleges a string of burglaries, fencings and trafficking in stolen property, as well as money laundering, drug and weapons offenses and charges of child abuse and ngelct. Marijuana Use Among American Adults Soars, Study Finds
Marijuana use among U.S. adults has increased to 9.5 percent, more than double the levels of use in 2001-2002 when the figure stood at 4.1 percent, says a new report from NBC News. But researchers reported problems for users, especially young adults, have also increased. Addiction is one of those problems, the report says. A majority of Americans also approve of marijuana use. Edgewater Janitor Gets Probation For Hidden Women's Bathroom Camera
EDGEWATER, N.J. -- A Union City man who rigged a camera in the women’s bathroom of an Edgewater commercial building got two years probation yesterday. Guillermo Soto, 50, got leniency because he pleaded guilty to attempted invasion of privacy before prosecutors had to obtain a grand jury indictment.
