Ball Accidentally Sets Off Pelham High School Fire Alarm PELHAM, N.Y. -- Students at Pelham Memorial High School and Pelham Middle School were evacuated after an unanticipated fire alarm on Wednesday. The cause of the fire alarm was determined to be a ball accidentally hitting a fire sensor in the high school gymnasium at around 1:25 p.m. Students were eventually sent back to class.

Former NBA Player Jayson Williams Arrested After Sullivan County Crash SULLIVAN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former NBA player was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Sullivan County, according to Time Warner Cable News.  Jayson Williams, 47, was charged with DWI after Sullivan County sheriff's deputies responded to a single-car crash call on Route 121 in Hortonville, reported Time Warner Cable News.  The former NBA All-Star previously served time in prison for the shooting death of his limousine driver and a separate DUI sentence, said Time Warner Cable news. He already was wanted by Massachusetts police for grave robbing, ctpost.com reported. Police reportedly found two human skulls and other bones in Delgado's apartment, ctpost said.
