Irvington Middle School Students Compete In Geography Bee IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Ten finalists competed in Irvington Middle School's eighth annual Geography Bee on Jan. 8.  “These 10 students waged a spirited competition despite a challenging set of questions and were supported by an enthusiastic audience,” Principal David Sottile said. “Some of the questions they answered correctly had the adult audience scratching their heads.” The finalists answered a series of U.S. geography questions in front of their parents, classmates, teachers and administrators.  To qualify for the competition, all students completed a written test in November.
