Taste Of Ridgefield Serves Up Scholarships, Fuel Assistance RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The 17th annual Taste of Ridgefield returns to Lounsbury House on Sunday. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit dozens of local organizations, such as Ridgefield Rotary's annual scholarship, and provide fuel subsidies for local families in need.  More than 30 top local restaurants, caterers and food vendors will offer complimentary samples at Taste of Ridgefield from 12:30-2:30 and from 4-6 p.m.  Admission to either serving session is $45 in advance or $50 at the door. N.Y. -- Iona Preparatory School's hockey program recently raised $16,000 in support of Defending the Blue Line.  Defending the Blue Line provides free equipment, hockey camps, special events and financial assistance to the children of servicemen and women.  The Iona Gaels will face Charminade on Saturday at the Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon for Military Appreciation Night.
